Jerick "Jay" Quilisadio is an American producer, vocalist, and songwriter. He was born and grew up in the coastal city of Long Beach, California. He is professionally known by his stage name, Cold Hart. He is known for mixing components of rap with unrelated genres such as country, gothic rock, and emo. Hart has now become an innovator of genre-defying music. His low baritone singing and emotionally charged lyrics touch upon depression, self-medication, and heartbreak.
Hart was hardly seen without a skateboard in his hands during his young age. He used to play records by post-punk's the Cure or Nick Cave. He also listened to rappers such as Chief Keef and Speaker Knockerz. His interest in music started developing over time, and Hart then taught himself how to produce in FL Studio and guitar.
Hart also co-founded a renowned collective called, GothBoiClique. He named the group after sending a beat with the same name to co-founder Wicca Phase Springs Eternal. Hart started to release a sequence of definitive vocal mixtapes and singles, including Downer and OC Season 1 and 2. They helped him surpass his distinction as a producer solely. Today GothBoiClique consists of several members, including Horse Head, Yawns, Fish Narc, Lil Tracy, and Wicca Phase.
