Chase Atlantic Information
Chase Atlantic is an Australian band that broke into the music world in 2014 and has since received international acclaim. Originally performing under the moniker K.I.D.S. in 2013, the group mostly sang covers on YouTube. They later renamed the band Chase Atlantic and released their debut EP, Dalliance, in 2014. The group traveled throughout Australia but did not have a national breakthrough until 2017 when they started visiting American events such as the Vans Warped Tour.
This band's early music has been regarded as pop-punk. Later, they started experimenting with other instrumentals, including the saxophone. Now, albeit having rock overtones, their approach more closely reflects a blend of pop and R&B. Many times, the alternative band is likened to musicians like Tame Impala.
The alternative R&B ensemble has put forth more than three studio albums and seven EPs overall. Among their best tunes are "Swim," "Friends," and "Slow Down." Apart from the general appreciation of the band among its supporters, the American Australian Association has given it the AAA Rising Star Award for 2018. Touring alongside other alternative rock or R&B musicians such as Sleeping with Sirens, Lights, and Blackbear, Chase Atlantic may be seen.
