Chantel Taleen Jeffries (September 30, 1992) is an American YouTube personality, model, and DJ. She was born in Coronado, California. Kathleen and Colonel Edward Jeffries are her parents. She has roots in Africa, France, the Cherokee, Ireland, Italy, and the United States. She and her two younger siblings are natives of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Her father is a veteran of the Marine Corps and a trainer for the armed forces.
After signing with Universal Music Group at 10:22 p.m., it was revealed that Jeffries' first song would be released on May 4, 2018. After hearing the music, American rappers Offset, and Vory stopped by to "lay some melodies." The single "Wait" was released on May 4, 2018. On June 5, 2018, a vertical music video for the track was made available.
On July 13, 2018, Jeffries dropped her second song, "Both Sides," which featured Vory. On August 10, 2018, a third single titled "Better" was released. American rappers BlocBoy JB and Vory were featured. Jeffries' fourth song, "Facts," featuring American rappers YG, Rich the Kid, and BIA, was released on February 1, 2019. The music video also featured accompanying lyrics.
