Cal Scruby (September 4, 1989) is an American rap artist from Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Ohio State University. He spent most of his boyhood in the small Ohio town of Londen, surrounded by a close-knit group of relatives and friends. Cal's passion for hip-hop grew from a young age till he began producing songs in 2011. His music reflects his experiences as a young adult, with frequent references to sports and modern culture. He focuses on personal and artistic growth with each project. Unsigned, his first album since leaving Riveting Music was released on May 21, 2019.
Scruby recorded his debut album in The Whisper Room at Ohio State University (2013). Scruby joined Riveting Entertainment in 2014 and released the single Ain't Shit Changed, which featured Chris Brown. His first EP, House in the Hills, was charted on Billboard (2015). Scruby and Redman have released a new tune and music video. Chris Brown's documentary, Welcome To My Life, utilized Cal's song Welcome to My Life.
