Bumbershoot Information
The Bumbershoot Festival, held in Seattle, Washington, has been running strong for almost 50 years. Tyler, the Creator, and Hippie Sabotage are among the headliners who have performed at the music festival before. The second group was established in 2005 in Sacramento, California, by brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer. After releasing their popular "Habits (Stay High) remix," the two brothers became famous overnight.
Due to its overwhelming popularity, the song reached the top spot on Billboard's Next Big Sound list. In 2007, Tyler, the Creator, began releasing his rap songs. His horrorcore style and vicious lyrics propelled him to international fame at the release of his debut mixtape, Bastard (2009).
He has won several accolades, including two Grammys, one BRIT, and three BET Hip Hop Awards. The Lumineers, H.E.R., and Rezz are among the top acts that have performed at the famous music festival in the past, along with Hippie Sabotage and Tyler, the Creator.
