Buckethead Information
Brian Patrick Carroll (May 13, 1969) is an American multi-instrumentalist, guitarist, and songwriter. He is professionally known as Buckethead. At the tender age of twelve, Carroll picked up a guitar from a local old man. A year after relocating to Claremont from Huntington Beach, California, he started taking things seriously. He took lessons from various instructors at a nearby music store, and his playing improved.
The Day of the Robot, Buckethead's 1996 solo album co-produced by English producer DJ Ninj and Laswell, and Giant Robot, Brain's, and Pete Scaturro's collaborative effort, were released on the tiny Japanese label NTT Records. Due to their limited printing runs, both albums are now considered rare and valuable collectibles. There was a second demo tape that the Deli Creeps recorded.
Buckethead said in August 2017 that September and October would be the dates of his fall US tour. Released on vinyl in January 2018, "Live from Bucketheadland" was Buckethead's debut live album, which he revealed shortly after the tour. In 2018, Buckethead resumed his tour as a solo artist. In 2019, Buckethead also went on a cross-country tour.
