Bryce Vine Information
Bryce Ross-Johnson (June 16, 1988) is an American singer and rapper. He is professionally known as Bryce Vine. The Glee Project was a reality show on Oxygen that acted as a tryout for the Fox show Glee. A friend of Ross-Johnson's mom recommended that he submit an audition tape to the series. Although he was the show's first elimination, he eventually reached the last twelve. Berklee College of Music was Ross-Johnson's last stop after The Glee Project.
He came up with his stage name while he was at Berklee; he went with Vine as it was an abbreviation for vinyl. After the meeting, Nolan Lambroza, Ross-Johnson's producer, signed him to his label, Kiva House Lambroza. A couple of modest singles, "Sour Patch Kids" and "Guilty Pleasure," were posted online by Ross-Johnson's debut EP, Lazy Fair, released on April 22, 2014. The name of the EP is a pun on the French phrase "laissez-faire," and his parents own a boat by the same name.
2016, Ross-Johnson dropped another extended play (EP) titled Night Circus. The following year, in 2017, he dropped the single "Drew Barrymore." According to Billboard Hot 100, the song's highest position was 46. His first studio album, Carnival, was released on July 26, 2019. The album's second song, "La La Land," reached 75th place on Billboard's Hot 100.
