Brian Fallon Information
Brian Fallon (January 28, 1980) is an American musician, songwriter, and singer. He is best known for being a rhythm guitarist, primary lyricist, and the lead vocalist of the band named “The Gaslight Anthem.” He has recorded five studio albums with this band. Also, Fallon is a member of the duo “The Horrible Crowes.”
Fallon was born in Red Bank, New Jersey. He spent his teen years in Hackettstown, New Jersey. There he became close friends with the Tommy Gun, who was the DuHamel of the band named Communication Redlight. He attended the Hackettstown High School. Fallon was just 17 when he released a cassette under his stage name ‘No Release’ in 1997. He wanted to start a small record label but couldn’t. The title of his album was The Coffeehouse Sessions. Chris Eissing was featured as a lead guitar in a few of the tracks.
Fallon involved in the release of the album “Amping Copper” with the band of the same name, Amping Copper, in 2001. In 2004, Fallon recorded a solo EP in which he wanted to maintain the band’s feel. He asked his friend Mike Hemberger to play the bass and Casey Lee Morgan from the group Lanemeyer to play drums. Tim Fogarty, his old guitar teacher, played guitar on two of the tracks while his mother at the backing vocals. It was titled “The American Music EP.”
Fallon has so far worked with The Gaslight Anthem and The Horrible Crowes. Albums that he has released with The Gaslight Anthem are The ‘59 Sound (2008), Sink or Swim (2007), American Slang (2010), Senor and the Queen EP (2008), Handwritten (2012), Get Hurt (2014). The Horrible Crowes released their debut album “Elsie” in 2011 with Fallon’s involvement. As a solo artist, he has released Painkillers (2016), Georgia EP (2016), and Sleepwalkers (2018).
