Beyond Wonderland Information
The folks at Insomniac Events put on the electronic dance music festival Beyond Wonderland. The event has occurred in Mountain View, San Bernardino, Seattle, and other west coast cities for one or two days. Beyond Socal and Beyond Norcal/Bay Area are offshoots of the original festival created to accommodate the expanding audience.
But creator Pasquale Rotella revealed that he would not be continuing Beyond Socal and Norcal after four years to pursue expansion and production of additional Insomniac festivals hence the Beyond series ended. Beyond Wonderland premiered in Mexico in 2017 and Colombia in 2019, marking its second worldwide launch.
There are several stages at the festival where electronic dance music acts perform, including House, Trance, Dubstep, Drum and bass, and Ambient. Various contemporary artworks, poi dancers, and a light maze have all become trademarks of the festival. Each year, as the event expands, new interactive features, like a wide array of dancing figures and visually appealing décor, are introduced to enrich the experience further.
