Bad Boys Blue Information
Bad Boys Blue are the one to watch in the German pop scene. German producer Tony Hendrik and his lyricist wife Karin van Haaren established Bad Boys Blue in the summer of 1984. Trevor "Supa T" Taylor (the original lead vocalist) was a Jamaican, while John "McInerney" McInerney (the original lead guitarist) was British, and Andrew "T" Thomas (the original bassist) was American. The pop charts didn't take to their first song, "L.O.V.E. in My Car," but their second, "You're a Woman," was a smashing success, cracking the top 10 in several European countries.
The anniversary single "Come Back and Stay Re-Recorded 2010," featuring remixes produced by MS Project, Alex Twister, Spinnin Elements, and Almighty, was released on August 13, 2010, by Coconut Music/Modern Romantics Productions/Sony Music. The anniversary album, titled 25, was published by the aforementioned record labels on August 27, 2010. It features 25 re-recorded tracks, seven new remixes, and a bonus DVD.
John has decided to end his employment with Carlos as of September 2011. Kenny "Krayzee" Lewis, who has previously worked with C.C.Catch, Touché, and Mark 'Oh, joined the group in October 2011. John decided before the end of 2011 to leave his position at "Krayzee." In 2012, Coconut Music released a DVD titled Live On TV on September 21. Bad Boys Blue revealed on their Facebook in December 2013 that they are recording new material.
