Aoife Scott Information
Aoife Scott is an Irish singer and songwriter currently based in Dublin. She is well-known for being a finalist in the Liet International song contest held in 2011 for minority languages as she is a Gaeilgeoir, an Irish language speaker. Scott is the daughter of Frances Black, a singer, and her sister Eoghan Scott, a solo artist and producer.
In 2016, Scott released her first album entitled “Carry The Day.” She has toured the whole United Kingdom and the United States to entertain the audiences. These travels helped her accumulate a huge fan base that is addicted to her music. Scott has also performed at The Late Late show of RTE and been a part of the Centenary concert, where she was recording Grace with her cousins Roisin O and Danny O’ReillyO’Reilly. They topped the Irish iTunes chart in 2016.
Scott released a solo single entitled “All Along the Wild Atlantic Way” in 2019, which successfully topped the charts. In January 2020, she released another notable studio album, “Homebird.” This album received the “Album of the week” title by Radio 1. Her other notable studio albums include The Essential Frances Black (2014) and This Love Will Carry (2014).
