Angela Yee is an American radio personality. She is famous for hosting the nationally syndicated morning show entitled “The Breakfast Club,” along with DJ Envy and Charlamagne Tha God. Angela was born on January 3, 1976, in Brooklyn, New York. She worked previously at The Morning After Lip Service.
Her career was persuaded in writing at Wesleyan University, majoring in English. Angela Yee graduated in 1997. She continued her employment in marketing and music after her studies. She opts for an internship with Wu-Tang Management as an assistant to the CEO, Divine. Yee also worked in a clothing company named Shady Limited, owned by Eminem and Paul Rosenberg through which she got the opportunity to make her way into Sirius Satellite Radio (marketing department).
The lady also wrote skits on GZA’s second studio album named Beneath the Surface. Yee started her career in radio at Sirius in 2005 as the co-host for The Cipha Sounds Effect. Angela took over the hosting duties full-time in 2008, and the name was finally changed to The Morning After with Angela Yee.
Yee also worked as a correspondent for MTV2’s Sucker Free. She was also featured as a cast member of the reality show The Gossip Game in 2013. The show presents seven New York women in the radio blogging industry. Angela Yee also managed recording artists such as GZA, Jay Electronica, along with 360 (most notably), who together brought her management skills to the spotlight. She also helped facilitate the Jay Electronica deal with JayZ’s Roc Nation.
