Adam Calhoun is an American country and hip-hop singer who was born in 1980. Calhoun began his music career by performing with a country rap singer, Hosier. Together they released a single in 2017 entitled “Salute the Brave.” The single reached number 46 on Hot Country Songs. That same year, the two also released an album named, Made in America. In 2018, Calhoun ended his collaboration with Hosier and began pursuing his solo career. His first release as a solo artist was AmerAcai that he released on March 13, 2018. Later in 2018, he released his second album entitled, The Throne.
In Calhoun’s second album entitled, “Racism,” a track got some criticism for using the N-word and stereotypes about black and white people. He released an extended play named Crazy White Boy with Demun Jones. He also went on a tour called “Crazy White Boy Tour” to promote his EP. They played shows in Sacramento, California. It was scheduled on the same weekend as the Sacramento Pride.
Calhoun released his third solo album, War, on July 18, 2019.
The album was the second best-selling country album and the third best-selling rap album of the week, which sold more than 3,200 copies. On November 25, he released his next album with Upchurch entitled, Hooligan. On January 22, 2021, Calhoun released the album, Pressure.
