A Thousand Horses Information
A Thousand Horses is a country band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2010. The current lineup of the group consists of Michael Hobby, Bill Satcher, Zach Brown, and Graham Deloach. The group released its debut extended play entitled “A Thousand Horses” in 2010 via Interscope Records. The band signed a new record deal with Republic Nashville of Big Machine Label Group later in 2014. They released a debut single on the newly signed label entitled “Smoke.” The single also set a record for the highest debut by a new act. It opened at number 28 on the Country Aircheck radio chart.
Bill Satcher and Michael Hobby grew up in Newberry, South Carolina. They both began writing songs at the age of 15. Slowly, “A Thousand Horses” was formed. The group enjoys writing their original songs. The band members have toured nationwide and released their debut full-length album entitled “Southernality” on January 21, 2015.
On June 2, 2017, A Thousand Horses released their deluxe EP entitled “Bridges.” The EP was released on BMLG Records. They also produced the new CD with Corey Crowder and Dann Huff. Their sound may mimic the Rolling Stones, the Black Crowes, the Allman Brothers, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. A few of the band’s notable singles include “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” (2015), “Preaching to the Choir” (2017), and “A Song to Remember” (2020).
