The center was built in the year 1928, and Raymond Hood designed the architecture of the arena. The design of the building is a tribute to Freemasonry. It houses the Jeanette Weinberg Theatre which has a seating capacity of around 1,866 that hosts dances, concerts, Broadway Tours, lectures and so many other events.
