Vinny Fasline Information
In 2000, Fasline underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor and discovered a way to express himself through stand-up. He later took on the role of spokesperson for Pittsburgh's Gilda's Club, an organization founded by Steve Martin and Gene Wilder to support those with cancer and their loved ones and friends. Fasline immediately established himself as a fixture at the Pittsburgh Improv before relocating to Los Angeles shortly after. He launched the live stand-up comedy show "Socially Awkward" in 2013, and it is now performed every month at The Comedy Store and the renowned Hollywood Improv Comedy Club.
The comedians Dane Cook, Nick Swardson, Michael Rappaport, Drew Lynch, and Jamie Kennedy have all been spotted on tour with Vinny Fasline. He has appeared on CBS and ABC's Fablife and performed at the New York Comedy Festival, Cabo Comedy Festival, and Just For Laughs Tour. Recent acting credits include Outta Pocket, Friend Zone, a short film with Lisa Ann Walter called Just a Taste, and an appearance on ABC's talk show FABLife.
Additionally, he launched the "REAL NEWS WE MADE UP" podcast channel with Elton Castee, which now has 20,000 members (only three released). Harland Williams, Jamie Kennedy, Jackie Tohn, Drew Lynch, Ian Edwards, Olivia Sui, Andrew Russet, and Colby Brock are some featured guests. He is currently on a tour of the entire US and Canada.
