The television game program The Price Is Right inspired LIVE!, a staged production show. Caesars Entertainment properties, the Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Connecticut and the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek in Florida were the first to host live stage acts. With the contract with Caesars no longer in effect, the show is currently on the road in several cities across the United States and Canada.
At some locations, audience members use response keypads to answer a series of pricing questions before each concert, while at others, a pricing game is played before check-in. Competitors for the One-Bid are selected from those with the highest combined accuracy and speed scores.
The stakes and awards in the price games and Showcases are typically lower than in television. Similar to the TV program, there is no entry cost to be considered for selection as a contestant, but a ticket to the entire show is required.
