The Clairvoyants is an Austrian magician and mentalist duo from Lower Austria, consisting of Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass. The pair was founded in 2011. The two talented artists have been performing together for years and were runner-up to Grace VanderWaal on America’s Got Talent season 11. The Clairvoyants are famous for spreading the word that mental magic can be learned; all you need is a set of cards.
The Clairvoyants earned first place in the Mental Magic category at the World Championships in Italy, 2015. Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass are now said to be the reigning world champions of magic. The two have been seen in the USA and China, among others, with the magic production “The Illusionists.”
Thomas Höschele is the real name of Thommy Ten, who is a native of St. Pölten. This 29-years old is known as multiple Austrian and German masters of magic. Ten also reached the semifinals of the famous ORF show “The Big Chance.” On the other hand, Amelie van Tass (1987) is from Hofstetten in the St. Pölten district. Her real name is Christina Gruber, and she was elected for “German Master of Mental Magic” in 2014.
