Steve Trevino Information
Steve Trevino (January 16, 1978) is a US comedian, writer, and producer. His first stand-up special aired on Showtime, the second on Netflix, and the third is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video. He has also contributed to Pitbull's La Esquina and Carlos Mencia's Comedy Central show, Mind of Mencia.
In 1997, at 19, Trevio began his career as a stand-up comedian. He frequently performed at the Addison Improv Comedy Club in Addison, Texas. He was also offered to drive the club's featured comedians to promotional radio appearances.
At 19, Trevio also had one of his first huge gigs, opening for Carlos Mencia. He worked as a writer and actor on Mencia's TV show, Mind of Mencia, in 2005 and 2006. Steve and his wife, Renae "Captain Evil" Trevino, started a podcast in June 2020 in which they talked about their relationship, their kids, and other aspects of their lives as the Trevions.
On October 15, 2020, Steve launched his fourth stand-up special on the On Location Live website, Steve Trevino: My Life in Quarantine. The show was taped before a live, socially distant, masked audience.
Besides Steve's brand new stand-up routine, the special also features a live recording of an episode of his podcast, Steve Trevio & Captain Evil: The Podcast. On October 21, 2022, Steve published I Speak Wife, his fifth self-produced special recorded in Waco, Texas. It was released to an international audience of his YouTube subscribers for free.
