Reno Collier Information
Reno Collier is an American stand-up comedian and former teacher who grew up in Waynesboro, Virginia. He graduated from Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro and was on the football team at school. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Elon College, now called Elon University, located in North Carolina. Collier began stand-up comedy during an open mic night in Atlanta, Georgia. He gained popularity when he performed as an opening act for Larry the Cable Guy. He also came up with his own Comedy Central Presents special around the same time. Collier was featured as a roaster for Larry the Cable Guy’s Comedy Central Roast. He was also part of the Blue-Collar Comedy Tour: The Next Generation.
Reno Collier is known for offering comic relief for hours on his front parapet of the school tours. He served as the host to The Great American Road Trip in July 2009, airing on NBC. Collier was also the host of the show Top Hooker, an Animal Planet reality TV competition. Collier, along with Larry the Cable Guy, can also be seen in the movie Witless Protection.
