Redondo Ignacio de la Rosa (August 1986) is a comedian and writer from Venezuela. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Redondo has exceptional black humor. He is professionally known by his stage name, Nacho Redondo.
Redondo set off his career on HOT 94.1 radio station in a night program called “Pagano Temple .” Following this, he continued performing on the Leader circuit “El Mostacho Radio” and “Arroz Especial,” to join later a national show on La Mega del Circuito Unión Radio “Tres Contra El Mundo.” Aside from his radio career, Redondo began working as a scriptwriter in a late-night show “Erika Tipo 11,” on Venevision Plus. By 2015, he became part of the writing staff of “La Sopa Venezuela” from E! Entertainment. Then he kept writing the late-night shows, namely, “Right Now,” “Connected,” and Luis Chataing in TV Venezuela and VIVOPlay, between 2016 to 2017.
Alongside the radio and television, Redondo managed to build his presence in stand-up comedy since 2013. He participated in “No Quiero Show” by José Rafael Guzmán, reaching up to 150 performances within two years. He premiered his debut solo, “Dios No Vino,” where Redondo visited Venezuela, Chile, Columbia, Mexico, Argentina, and Spain. He is touring with his ongoing show “Discapacitado,” which premiered at Miami Improv, as the first-ever Spanish show in the venue’s history.
Redondo also hosts a weekly comedy podcast, “Escuela de Nada,” alongside Christopher Andrade and Leonardo Rojas. Currently, he is working for different digital platforms on various TV and film projects.
