Michelle Wolf Information
Michelle Wolf (June 21, 1985) is an American comedian, television host, writer, and producer born in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Wolf completed her graduation from Hershey High School in 2003, and in 2007, she completed her degree from the College of William & Mary. She worked at Bear Stearns from 2007 to 2008 but later switched her job to join JPMorgan Chase. Wolf worked for almost four years in mutual funds and managing accounts between the two banks. During that time, she started taking improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the People Improv Theater (PIT).
In July 2014, Wolf made her first late-night television appearance in Late Night with Seth Meyers. She reappeared on numerous segments of the show. Wolf hosted a web series on YouTube entitled “Now Hiring” in November 2015 that Comedy Central presented and is a regular contestant at the Comedy Cellar in New York City.
Wolf joined The Daily Show with Trevor Noah in April 2016 as a contributor. According to her, she learned a lot about comedy from Trevor Noah and Seth Meyers. She made her first appearance outside North American in August 2016 when she performed a stand-up show named So Brave at the Edinburgh Festival.
Michelle Wolf also wrote and performed a stand-up comedy special that Netflix released in December 2019. She has hosted a weekly Netflix talk show as well called, The Break with Michelle Wolf. The talk show premiered on May 27, 2018, and continued till August 18, 2018.
