Jessica Shaia "Jessi" Cruickshank (July 17, 1983) is a Canadian television personality. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She also holds an English and Drama degree from the University of Toronto.
Cruickshank's first acting assignment was in a Shoppers Drug Mart Christmas commercial. She had a brief role in the made-for-television film For Hope, directed by Bob Saget in 1996, while she was in her pre-teen years. Cruickshank formerly co-hosted a show called Weird On Wheels with Mackay Taggart on YTV before joining MTV.
Cruickshank was previously one of MTV's original seven co-hosts of MTV Live, which fellow MTV now hosts Daryn Jones, Nicole Holness, and Paul "The Intern" Lemieux. Cruickshank has interviewed a wide range of celebrities from the pop culture world, including Jamie Foxx, Whitney Port, Lauren Conrad, Backstreet Boys, Ryan Reynolds, Bill Gates, Zac Efron, Adam Lambert, Taylor Lautner, and Bradley Cooper, as well as the casts of The Hills, The City, and Twilight.
Cruickshank portrayed Kristin in The Rest of My Life. This TV movie premiered on MuchMusic in Canada and TeenNick in the United States on July 16, 2010, and concluded the ninth season of Degrassi: The Next Generation. In 2010, she also starred in the direct-to-video film Virtuality.
