Jen Kober is an American stand-up comedian from Lake Charles, Los Angeles. With her unique blend of stand-up, storytelling, and improvised rock-n-roll humor, she has sprung onto the national scene, bringing audiences to their feet. As Kober takes the stage and dares you not to laugh, her hard-hitting hour is incredibly entertaining.
For her Girl Scout Cookie Caper narrative, which instantly went viral, Kober got NPR's Snap Judgement Comedic Performance of the Year in 2017. Kober won the 2018 Comedic Performance of the Year award for her tale Nana Vs. OJ.
In 2019, Kober debuted on Netflix as a member of the cast of two of the company's original series. AJ & The Queen, RuPaul's sitcom, and Dead to Me are among them. On HBO's The Righteous Gemstones, Kober portrayed a no-nonsense detective. He played a hilarious scientific teacher on USA Network's The Purge, and on Disney+'s Diary Of A Future President, he played a funny science teacher.
Kober has recurring roles on American Horror Story, a guest appearance on Showtime's Black Monday starring Regina Hall and Don Cheadle, and a Season 2 regular role on Apple TV's upcoming homosexual sitcom The Browns 2021. Kober is also featured in Owning It, an Audible Pride Special.
