Hannah Marie Einbinder (May 21, 1995) is an American writer, actress, and comedian born in Los Angeles, California. Before attending Chapman University to receive his BFA in television writing and production, Einbinder graduated from Beverly Hills High School. NPR named Einbinder one of the ten comics to watch in 2019 after he performed in the New Faces presentation at 2019 Just for Laughs festival.
She was also named one of Vulture's finest new up-and-coming comedians to watch in 2019; she was acknowledged for "her refreshingly absurdist charm." She was the youngest performer in the show's history when she did her stand-up routine on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2020. It was the show's last live show stand-up performance for fifteen months. Starring alongside Jean Smart and Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Einbinder played the role of Ava on HBO Max's Hacks in 2021.
A total of 15 Emmy nominations were given to the show, including acting nods for Einbinder, Smart, and Clemons-Hopkins, and the show's second season premiered on May 12, 2022, after being picked up for a second run in June 2021. In the summer of 2022, Einbinder will go on a national tour of his stand-up comedy.
