Fortune Feimster Information
Feimster, Emily Fortune (July 1, 1980) is an American comedian, writer, and actor. After making her first appearance on television in 2010 on NBC's Last Comic Standing, she featured as Colette on The Mindy Project, which ran from 2015 to 2017.
She started presenting the popular radio show What a Joke with Papa and Fortune with Tom Papa in July of 2019, during which she conducts interviews with comedians and celebrities. This show is the first live programming on the Sirius XM channel. Netflix is a Joke. In the remake of "The L Word" titled "The L Word: Generation Q," she portrayed the role of Heather.
Her first year was spent in Spain. In 2003, she went to Los Angeles to work as Procter's assistant and try her hand at comedy. After meeting Procter's next-door neighbor, a Los Angeles Daily News reporter, Feimster embarked on a successful seven-year career in the entertainment industry.
She started attending The Groundlings Theatre in 2005, taking improv and sketch comedy classes. After four years of training with the Groundlings, she was invited to join the Sunday Company. It was a big step in her career path, exposing her to a bigger fan following.
