Foil Arms and Hog is an Irish sketch comedy group. The lineup consists of Sean Finegan, Conor McKenna, and Sean Flanagan. Besides their online presence, Foil Arms and Hog also put on live performances, mostly in the UK and Ireland but also in the US, AU, and Europe. Their performances at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe date back to 2009.
It was from inside the group that the name came up, using members' nicknames for one another. The comic foil is played by Sean Finegan, the lead actor is "All arms and legs" (Conor McKenna), and the show-stopping character is Hog (Sean Flanagan).
In 2008, while each member was a student at University College Dublin (majoring in architecture, genetics, or engineering), the trio first crossed paths at the drama society. First, they were brought together by a shared appreciation for comedy and the TV sitcom Father Ted.
