David Spade Information
David Wayne Spade (July 22, 1964) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, TV personality, and writer. He is from Birmingham, Michigan, and started his official career in 1987. This artist performs in several genres, such as observational comedy, blue comedy, sketch comedy, self-deprecation, slapstick, and sarcasm. Spade was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He performed in a long-running sketch comedy show, Farce Side Comedy Hour, in his university as a standup comedian on various occasions. He also used to do stand-up comedy in the Greasy Tony's Pizza (Tempe, Arizona).
Spade initiated his career by joining Saturday Night Live with the help of a friend in 1990. From being a writer, he turned out to be a great cast member of the same show and started gaining fame. Later he appeared in several television shows, films, and sitcoms.
Spade co-starred in many hit films such as Tommy Boy (1995), Joe Dirt (2001), Black Sheep (1996), Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser (2015), Grown Ups (2010), Father of the Year (2018), Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol, A Very Brady Sequel, The Emperor's New Groove, Warning Shot, and several more. Some of the TV shows where Spade was sighted include The Facts of Life, The Larry Sanders Show, Beavis and Butt-Head, Just Shoot Me!, 2003 Spike Video Game Awards, 8 Simple Rules, Inside Amy Schumer, and many more.
Spade is currently hosting Lights Out with David Spade. He also hosted The Showbiz Show with David Spade for three seasons (Comedy Central TV show) and was one of the voice-over artists in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (a video game) and The Emperor's New Groove (2000 movie).
David Wayne Spade was nominated for an Emmy and two Golden Globe Awards for his role; Dennis Finch and the sitcom; Just Shoot Me!. He earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame honor as well on September 5, 2003.
