Darci Lynne Information
Darci Lynne Farmer (October 12, 2004) is a U.S National singer and ventriloquist. She was born in Oklahoma City and started her music career in 2014. Farmer made a great stride towards her career at such an early age, beginning from the International Cinderella Scholarship Program, where she took the crown for International Mini Miss. She is the daughter of Clarke and Misty Farmer.
Laryssa Bonacquisti, a young ventriloquist, inspired the Mini Miss to try ventriloquist herself. In 2014, she joined the Edmond’s Got Talent where she got the first prize on Bonacquisti’s tips. Gary Owen, a ventriloquist coach, got so impressed with Lynne that he immediately offered to be her coach and business manager.
In 2015, Lynne won first place in both the junior division at Oklahoma's Got Talent and Oklahoma Kids. Young ventriloquist also won Broadway, Specialty Acts, and Overall Entertainer of the Year at American Kids in Branson, Missouri. She later entered the British version of Little Big Shots, performing “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart” with Katie.
The Mini Miss played a vast number of characters, including Petunia-singing white bunny, Oscar- a nervous Motown mouse, Edna Doorknocker- a naughty old lady, Katie- a sassy cowgirl who yodels, and Nigel- a brilliant British bird along with many others.
In 2017, Darci Lynne started her serious career and entered on the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent. She performed Summertime from Porgy and Bess with her puppet named Petunia. Judge Mel B praised her performance and pressed the golden buzzer button right away.
In the year 2018, a national tour started. Namely, Darci Lynne and Friends Live, which included 52 dates throughout the year till January 2019. The Mini Miss appeared on Today with Oscar and performed “Who’s Lovin’ You.” In May 2018, Darci appeared as a guest on Pickler and Ben.
