Damon Kyle Wayans Jr. (November 18, 1982) is an American comedian and actor. He was born in Huntington, Vermont. Wayans is most widely known for his starring role in the ABC sitcom, Happy Endings as Brad Williams. He was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (2012) for this role. Wayans made his film debut in 1994 when he was cast in his father’s feature film named, Blankman. He played the role of Young Kevin. He also appeared on another sitcom by his father entitled “My Wife and Kids,” as John.
Wayans has served as a writer on The Underground and also appeared in the comedy series. Wayans received a standing ovation during his debut appearance on Def Comedy Jam. He has starred in the Wayans family comedy Dance Flick and performed the main character of Thomas. In addition, he starred in Happy Endings from April 2011 to May 2013 and worked alongside Casey Wilson, Adam Pally, Zachary Knighton, Elisha Cuthbert, and Eliza Coupe.
On May 16, 2011, by Fox Network, it was announced that they would feature Wayans in the supporting role of “Coach” for their comedy named New Girl. He has appeared in several notable films so far in his career, including Long Weekend (2021), Cherry (2021), Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (2021), Love, Guaranteed (2020), Trouble (2019), Super Troopers 2 (2018), How to Be Single (2016), The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave (2016), Let’s Be Cops (2014), and Big Hero 6 (2014).
