Christopher Tucker (August 31, 1971) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Tucker attended Columbia High School in Decatur, Georgia, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. Richard Pryor and Eddie Murphy were two of his favorite comedians, and in high school, Tucker was well-liked for his hilarious Eddie Murphy and Michael Jackson impressions.
He became an official ambassador for the Heal Los Angeles Foundation in 2021. Prince Jackson, Michael Jackson's son, co-founded this foundation to combat issues facing Los Angeles's at-risk young kids, such as homelessness, child abuse, and food insecurity.
Tucker and Steve Harvey received the first-ever "Man in the Mirror" Award at the Heal Los Angeles Foundation's 2022 Halloween Thriller Night. This honor goes to leaders making a positive impact through their platforms. Prince Jackson presented Tucker with an award, which Tucker graciously accepted. He also presided over the BET Awards in 2013. The film Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk (2016) included him. A Nike executive named Howard White played White in the film Air, released in 2023.
