Chaunte Wayans (May 24, 1982) is an American actress and comedian. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition to her brother Damien Dante Wayans, Chaunté Wayans is a member of the famous Wayans family. Other members of the Wayans family are Keenen Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans, Sr., Kim Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans. She is Elvira Wayans's daughter. Elvira Wayans is her mother. When Chaunté entered the film industry, she worked as a production assistant.
She assisted with the production of Americanizing Shelley and several of her uncles' films, such as Scary Movie 2 and My Wife and Kids. She appeared as herself in a subsequent episode of the TLC series Trading Spaces. In 2009, she made her debut in a role in a feature film called "Free Gas Pedestrian," which was a part she played in the film Dance Flick alongside numerous members of her extended family. In 2013, Chaunté appeared in the television series Wild 'n Out, broadcast on MTV2.
