Andrew Schulz Information
Andrew Schulz (October 30, 1983) is an American podcaster, actor, and stand-up comedian born in New York City. To earn his BA in Psychology, Schulz enrolled at and graduated from UC Santa Barbara in Santa Barbara, California. While attending university in California, Schulz began his stand-up comedy career, which he maintained upon his return to New York in the mid-2000s. He debuted at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, after becoming a regular at the Comedy Village in 2008.
Schulz uploaded his first stand-up special, 4:4:1, to YouTube in September 2017. After the success of his last album, Schulz released a comedy album, 5:5:1, in June of 2018. It quickly rose to the top of the iTunes humor album charts. The album eventually became the most popular on Apple Music, Google Play, and Amazon; It topped Billboard's listings for comedy albums the week of June 23, 2018.
Schulz released two streaming EPs in 2021 via 800 Pound Gorilla Records: Views from the Cis and Brilliant Idiot. New content for his YouTube channel, "Infamous," debuted on July 25, 2022. Schulz Saves America, a four-part Netflix special, debuted on the streaming service on December 17, 2020. Andrew Schulz interviewed North Korean defector Yeonmi Park in February 2023.
