Tyler Perry (September 13, 1969) is an American actor, producer, writer, director, and comedian. He was born as Emmitt Perry Jr. in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has been listed as the highest-paid man in entertainment by Forbes, earning $130 million between May 2010 and May 2011. Perry’s films are styled in from Orthodox filmmaking techniques, and his stage-play films have been subsequently adapted as films. He created the character Madea, a tough elderly black woman, and performs it often.
Tyler has written and produced many stages plays during the 1990-2000 tenure. He developed numerous television series among which, the most notable one was Tyler Perry’s House of Payne. Perry starred in different movies in which the most famous of his roles were Admiral Barnett in Star Trek, the Titular character in Alex Cross, Tanner Bolt in Gone Girl, Baxter Stockman in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Colin Powell in Vice. For television programs, Tyler also wrote, directed, and produced the sitcom Meet the Browns (2009-2011).
In 2015, this famous actor acquired a former military base that was converted to studios. Later on, the area was used to film the HBO films/OWN film and is currently under use for a television series, The Walking Dead. In 2017, Tyler signed up with Viacom for 90 episodes/year of comedy series and original drama. His work in the movies was tremendous. Some widely popular film in which he worked is “Diary of a Mad Black Women,” “Madea’s Family Reunion,” “Why Did I Get Married?”, “Meet the Browns,” “Star Trek,” “Precious,” “Good Deeds,” and “Gone Girl.”
