Tomasa Del Real (December 1, 1986) is a Chilean singer, reggaeton artist, and composer. She was born in Iquique, Chile. Tomasa's mother gave her a laptop computer to use when working as a tattoo artist in Iquique. She started recording herself singing and rapping using the Photo Booth software and then posting the resulting videos to social media sites like Facebook and YouTube. As of late, she'd been making a habit of traveling across the continent to ink strangers. During these travels, she began giving impromptu reggaetón performances at house gatherings. Her tattooing career took off, and soon her passion for reggaetón was well-known to her clients from all corners of the globe. Tattoo parlor clients frequently invited her to record in their studios.
After becoming increasingly popular and in demand as a performer, Del Real had to close her tattoo parlor in 2015. In March 2016, Del Real dropped her debut album, Bien y Mal. Despite its DIY spirit, the tracks have become some of the best examples for the genre, according to critics. Many of her earlier songs were included on the album. Tomasa calls himself a "reggaetón nerd" and reads up on the music genre daily. Bellaca del Ao, her newest album, came out on Nacional Records on May 18, 2018.
