Tempers Information
The Tempers is an American electronic art rock band. The current lineup consists of James Bakker (synth), Chalia Bakker (drums), and Corina Bakker (vocals). The Tempers started in the summer of 2006 when they posted their first song, "Scissors," on Myspace. The Tempers kept pumping out new songs on Myspace, including "White Walls" and "Fix." Unfortunately, "Scissors" and "White Walls" were never included on an album and are no longer for sale. A new version of "Fix" on Vol. 1 (The Tempers album) came out a while back.
It wasn't until 2009 that The Tempers played their first live gig, which took place at Seattle's High Dive. Their first full-length studio album, Vol. 1, was released on October 31, 2010. The group also unveiled an official music video for "Alone Again," which they directed themselves.
The Tempers used Kickstarter, a patron-funded project, to help finance their second album's production. Together We Are The Love Vortex, an EP they recorded and self-released on July 6, 2012, received sufficient funding through crowdfunding. You Must Be Crazy also had its music video, which the artist directed. Their second extended play, "Vol. 2," came out in 2021.
