Cailin Russo is an American musician and model. Her fame has skyrocketed because of her cameos in Justin Bieber's videos. Raised in Encinitas, California, Russo was born to rock musician Scott Russo, the band Unwritten Law lead singer, and Jodi Russo (née Kirtland). Unwritten Law wrote a song about her in 1998 called "Cailin." There are two brothers within her family. Russo fell into the modeling industry by accident. Forever 21, Wildfox Couture, Ocean Pacific, Pacsun, American Apparel, Free People, and Brandy Melville are just a few of the labels she's modeled for. One of Russo's relatives was involved in the casting process for Justin Bieber's music videos "All That Matters" and "Confident," in which she plays Bieber's love interest.
Russo fronts the band by the same name. She has released two songs since her 2018 EP, House with a Pool, including "Phoenix" and "Love No More." She has been influenced by Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, and Missy Elliott, among others. The music of RUSSO has been described as "punk rock with a sprinkle of pop thrown in for good measure" They have shared the stage with Jessie Ware and Madison Beer on tour. Hayley Brownell on drums, Tyler McCarthy on guitar, and Sean Ritchie on bass make up RUSSO. She teamed up with Chrissy Costanza to create the 2019 League of Legends World Championship's official song, "Phoenix."
