Rebelution Information
Rebelution is a reggae rock music band. The current lineup includes Eric Rachmany, Rory Carey, Marley D. Williams, and Wesley Finley /Kyle Ahern. On June 8, 2007, Rebelution dropped a future game-changing debut studio album, Courage to Grow. The CD received high marks for innovative songwriting, thoughtful lyrics, and accomplished playing. The album was chosen as the Best Reggae Album of 2007 by the editors of iTunes.
On June 18, 2021, 87 Music and Easy Star Records released Rebelution's seventh studio album, In The Moment. An acoustic rendition of their song "To Be Younger" is one of the album's 15 tracks. The American soul singer Durand Jones, The Indications (band), and the Jamaican reggae singers Keznamdi, Kabaka Pyramid, and Busy Signal make cameos. The band's touring guitarist, Kyle Ahern, was the album's producer and coordinator.
On May 20, 2022, Rebelution released Live in St. Augustine, a live album recorded at a sold-out show in 2021. The release occurred in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augustine, Florida. It featured 23 songs from the band's repertoire. Rebelution's third acoustic album, Reflections, was published digitally on May 12, 2023. It was made available on all streaming platforms. It was recorded at Santa Barbara Sound Design and mixed by Kyle Ahern. The album comprises ten acoustic tracks and video sessions.
