The rock band Points North members are guitarist Eric Barnett, bassist Uriah Duffy, and drummer Kevin Aiello. Points North is based in California. The band has published two studio albums, and its live performances are renowned for their high enthusiasm. The band also performs under the guise of their alter ego Fred Barchetta, which is a tribute to the band Rush. On vocals for this guise is Darby Gould, originally a Jefferson Starship member.
In 2008, Barnett competed in the Guitar Superstar competition and made it to the finals. Additionally, he has provided advice for instrumental guitarists in the form of articles for Guitar Player magazine and has provided music for many video games. Duffy may be most recognized for revitalizing the sound of Whitesnake in 2006 and 2010 when she was a member of that band. Soon after Points North's debut album was published, he became a band member.
