NOA Information
Achinoam Nini, aka Noa, is a singer/songwriter, composer, percussionist, poet, speaker, activist, and mother of three born in the United States and raised in Yemen and Israel. Noa has released 15 international albums with her longtime musical collaborator Gil Dor. Dor is an accomplished musician and co-founder of the Rimon School of music, and the two of them have performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including Carnegie Hall, the White House, and three Popes.
She's performed alongside such greats as Stevie Wonder, Andrea Bocelli, and Sting and has been coached by music greats like Pat Metheny and Quincy Jones. Noa is one of Israel's most prolific musicians and a leading cultural campaigner for mutual understanding and peace.
Aside from the Christal Award from the World Economic Forum and the prestigious title of Commander of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, she has also been honored with the title of Pilgrim of Peace by the Franciscan order in Assisi (previous recipients include Bill Gates and Mother Theresa). Noa serves on the boards of directors of dozens of Human Rights and Peace groups in Israel and worldwide. She was Israel's first ambassador to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization.
