Mojgan Shajarian (May 17, 1970) is an Iranian-born setar player, vocalist, graphic designer, and painter. She was born in Tehran, Pehlavi, Iran. On May 17, 1970, Mojgan Shajarian entered the world in Tehran. She graduated from Islamic Azad University with a BA in painting and an MA in visual communication. The University of the Arts is also the location of her bachelor's degree in music.
Mohammad Reza Shajarian's and Homayoun Shajarian's concert director, Mohammad Ali Rafiei, is married to Shajarian; the couple has a daughter named Mehr Rafiei and two sons named Sam and Sepehr. In April 2019, under the moniker Arghavan, she dropped her debut self-titled album. Sorena Sefati composed the music for this album. The album has selections from poets such as Hushang Ebtehaj, Mohammad-Reza Shafiei Kadkani, and Hafez. In 1991, she shared the stage with Sima Bina in Tehran.
