Julian Lamadrid is a Mexican model, director, actor, producer, singer, record producer, and songwriter. He was born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. After graduating from high school at age 19, Lamadrid relocated to New York City to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he earned a bachelor's degree in film and television. While a student at New York University, Lamadrid released several EPs under his given name, and he also co-wrote and co-produced several hits, including Rence's "Baby Blue."
Lamadrid's debut album, Mala Noche, was released on November 8, 2019, after he signed with Arista Records in the spring of 2019. Mala Noche's success gave him what he called "a solid fanbase." Mala Noche's music and video were written, recorded, and directed by Julian.
Expect "Rebels of the Neon God" from Lamadrid in late 2020. "Cigarette" and "My Time" are available as singles from his discography. Lamadrid's musical approach varies from upbeat dance tracks like his 2019 hit "Mess" to slower, more reflective ballads influenced by artists like Daft Punk and Soft Cell.
