Jesse Cook Information
Jesse Arnaud Cook is a Canadian musician. In addition to his Juno, he has won the Flamenco category silver at the Acoustic Guitar Player's Choice Awards and the Guitarist of the Year title three times at the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards. In addition to having sold more than 1.5 million albums worldwide, he has recorded music for the EMI, E1 Music, and Narada record labels.
For his 2001 album "Free Fall," Cook was awarded the Juno Award for "Best Instrumental Album." In 2009, he was awarded the silver prize in the Flamenco category of the Player's Choice Awards for Acoustic Guitar, while Paco de Lucia received the gold award.
Beginning with the release of Virtue in 2011, Cook began filming, directing, and editing his music videos simultaneously. Since then, he has produced, edited, and mixed the PBS concert special Beyond Borders with Jesse Cook and directed, filmed, and edited eight music videos. He has also contributed to sixteen episodes of Friday Night Music.
