Forever Young is a group of polished musicians that pay tribute to the discography of Neil Young. The tribute band consists of five vocalists. The current lineup consists of Amy Bedard (violin, acoustic guitar, mandolin, vocals, keys), Sean Finnerty (acoustic & electric bass, vocals), John Fuzek (6 &12 string acoustic guitars, electric guitar, vocals, keyboard, 6-string banjo, mandolin), Gary St Germain (drums & percussion), Dan Lilley (electric & acoustic guitars, vocals, harmonica), and Pete Vendettuoli (lead electric & acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin, keys, vocals, lap steel).
All the group members that perform in Forever Young are staples in the Rhode Island music scene. They are also veterans of many national and regional tours as well as diehard fans of Neil Young. The tribute shows exclusively highlights several of Young's popular songs. The group performs both the acoustic and electric songs as Neil Young is famous for both styles. The group is full of energy during the performances that make the show entertaining throughout.
A typical Forever Young show is divided into two sets of music. Its running time is generally 2-3 hours though that also depends upon the venue and audience. The tribute band cherishes its fans with a blended performance of rock, folk, and country styles of Young's music. The performances by the group are highly influenced by the "Four Way Street" live album, recorded by Stills, Nash, Crosby, and Neil.
