Farzad Farzin Information
Farzad Farzin (June 24, 1981) is an Iranian singer-songwriter, arranger, and actor. He was born in Tehran, Iran. Among the founders and initial band members of the Corouz Group in 2001 was Farzad. Before the band ever put out their debut record, he left. Shervin Sohrabian replaced Farzad's position in Corouz. Farzad departed Corouz Group for personal reasons, although he retained the rights to every song he had produced for the group.
Following several changes in content, title, and record label, he finally released his debut (legal) album, Sharaareh, in 2005 on the Navaaye Raameshe label. Shock, his second (legal) record, took some time to find release. The second album was ultimately published in 2008. With his second single from his third album, Shaans, Chikeh Chikeh made his European chart debut in late August 2010.
Farzad Farzin also had a brief acting career. His first role was as a singer in Majid Gharizadeh's film Pesaraane Ajori. He starred in numerous short films and the Arsalan Amirhosseini TeleFilm Donyaaye Mahboob many years before that. Recently, Farzad Farzin appeared in a motion picture about an aspiring musician whose main desire is to sing a song for the Persian Gulf while standing on a boat.
