Armaan Malik Information
Armaan Malik (July 22, 1995) is an Indian singer, actor, dancer, performer, voice-over, record producer, and songwriter. He was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Malik's music career began when he was just four years old. In 2006, he appeared on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs and ended up in eighth place. After that, he spent the next decade studying Indian traditional music. Taare Zameen Par's "Bum Bum Bole," composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, featured Malik's first Bollywood singing performance as a kid in 2007.
Malik has provided the English-language translation for My Name Is Khan and voiced Salim in BBC Radio 1's adaptation of Slumdog Millionaire. Playback singing was his first foray into the film industry, and he made his début with the song "Tumko Toh Aana Hi Tha" from the 2014 Hindi film Jai Ho. Also sung by him were "Love You Till The End (House Mix)" and "Jai Ho," the film's title tune.
Malik and his brother, music composer Amaal Mallik, both had roles in the opening number "Love You Till The End" from Jai Ho. He collaborated with Sona Mohapatra on "Naina" for the film Khoobsurat and "Auliya" for the film Ungli, both released in the same year. In 2015, he performed songs written by his brother Amaal Malik, including "Main Hoon Hero Tera" for Hero, "Kwahishein" for Calendar Girls, and "Tumhe Aapne Banane Ka" for Hate Story 3. He collaborated with Neeti Mohan on the latter song.
