Aakash Gupta is an Indian theatre artist, YouTuber, actor, and comedian. He was born in Delhi. Gupta received his Bachelor of Commerce with Honors from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College at Delhi University. In college, he was introduced to the theater and quickly became a popular performer. He participated in several campus festivals, including Mood Indigo (IIT Bombay) and Mood Fest (IIT Delhi), where he performed on the streets and in the theater.
Gupta left his corporate career to pursue his interest in theater, specifically comedy and improv. He interned at Radio Mantra in 2014. Gupta continued his exploration of the acting world by studying with Indian and German acting instructors in Red Nose Clowning and Commedia dell'arte. Gupta left KPMG to pursue improv comedy and 2014, joined Cueless Improv, a comedy improv collective in Delhi managed by Varoon Anand, an experienced improv educator.
After participating in several improv shows, Gupta decided to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. After the success of two stand-up videos, titled Train Journeys & Honeymoon Trips and Relationships, Clubbing & Cocktails, Gupta embarked on a national comedy tour with his Stand-up solo titled Bhai Khush Raha Kar (Brother Stay Happy).
