Glass Bowl Stadium is an outdoor football stadium located at 3044 North, Glass Bowl Drive, Toledo, Ohio. It is home to the University of Toledo Rockets since 1937. The Glass Bowl Stadium has a seating capacity of around 26,038 people. The venue opened to the general public on September 27, 1937. In 1946, after World War II, the stadium was renovated with several glass elements, and as such, it is called the Glass Bowl. The University of Toledo owns and manages the Glass Bowl Stadium. The stadium underwent multiple renovations in 1940, 1949, 1966, 1971, and the largest one in 1990. The credit for designing its beautiful architecture goes to SSOE.

Glass Bowl Stadium is one of the premier college football stadium facilities with a blend of old and new along with traditional stonework around the field. The stadium also hosts concerts, rehearsal facilities during weekends, monster truck rallies, and commencement ceremonies. The most massive crowd in the history of the University of Toledo football game at Glass Bowl Stadium was 36,852 people at a match against United States Naval Academy on October 27, 2001.
