House of Blue Orleans is a live music venue located at 225 Decatur St, New Orleans, Louisiana. The House of Blues was open to the general public in 1994. The founder of the theater is Isaac Tigrett, who crafted this chain of live-music venues out of his love for the uniquely American Blues. The founder’s idea behind the theme style was to introduce the rural south music comprising of Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, Jazz, and Roots-based Rock & Roll, to the world.
