The venue was built through 2009-2012 and opened for the general public on March 10, 2012. The center has a seating capacity of around 2,050 people. There are three theatres in two buildings side by side divided according to the seating capacity; the first one is Reynolds Hall, which is the biggest venue of all along with Myron Cabaret Jazz that seats 240 and the Troesh Studio Theatre seats 250. The theater is among the first performing arts center of the country, which was Gold Leed certified. It was proclaimed as the new residence to the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum.
